We also recommend public transportation like buses or shared cabs, but you might have to do a break-journey as no direct vehicles are available between the towns.

From Pahalgam, there's only one option to reach the valley, i.e. to book a private cab. A round trip will generally cost around Rs. 1500, depending on your chosen vehicle. It is still a lot, but sadly, there are no other options.

Entry to the Betaab Valley also requires an entrance fee of Rs. 100, which isn't what you'll have to pay for parking. There is an additional parking charge, generally around Rs. 30 for two-wheelers and Rs. 50 for a four-wheeler.

If you're visiting in the winter, you can try several snow activities, including skiing and sledging. Camping is another thing we recommend, especially to the tourists planning a trip in spring or summer.

The Tulian Lake is another tourist spot one must visit near the Betaab Valley. Conveniently located at a distance of 8.2 kilometres, the lake serves as an ideal spot for photography and setting a camp beside it.

Sadly, there are no accommodation options in Betaab Valley. However, one can easily find some of the best 3-star hotels in Pahalgam. Most of these are affordable and include all necessary services like breakfast/dinner. So, one can stay a few days in Pahalgam to explore all the nearby places of interest!
